Once approved and published, your eBook appears immediately in the public Readora catalog under your chosen author name—100% free for readers everywhere.

Editorial Standards

Author Guidelines & Copyright Policy

  • Original Work Only: We accept only original works written by you, or works for which you hold explicit, documented legal permission to publish.
  • Zero Tolerance for Unauthorized Copyrighted Material: Uploading pirated books, third-party commercial editions, or uncredited copyrighted text is strictly prohibited and will be rejected immediately.
  • Open-Access Global Readership: By submitting, you grant Readora non-exclusive permission to display your approved work for free reading on the platform while you retain your underlying copyright.
  • Author Control & Removal Rights: Authors may request edits or complete removal of their published books at any time using the removal request form.
Prototype Architecture Note

Local Prototype vs. Production Infrastructure

What runs in this prototype: Form validation, PDF/EPUB file type & size checks, cover image previews, chapter text storage, and the Admin Approval workflow run locally in your browser via localStorage.

Required for multi-device production: Uploaded PDF/EPUB files are validated locally here and are not uploaded to a public cloud server yet. A live multi-device deployment requires a backend API (Node.js/Python/Go), a relational database (PostgreSQL), authenticated author accounts (OAuth/JWT), and secure object storage (AWS S3 / Google Cloud Storage) with malware scanning and CDN delivery.
